Hello! I’m Llorenç. I was born in València (Spain), but I’ve lived in Ghent (Belgium), Dublin (Ireland), and Saint Nazaire (France).
I come from a family of bakers, so, who knows, maybe in the future I end up translating about pastry and bakery.
I like playing sport. I used to play basketball, but now I prefer trekking.
As you know, I like mountains, I like to walk through the hills, and I love the Mediterranean forest: its fauna, its flora, and its culture. The merging of the natural world and the cultural world.
I’m a self-taught birdwatcher, and my favourite birds are bee-eaters and kingfishers. If you’ve ever seen one of them, I think you know why I love them.
I’m a lover of sunsets, not just sunsets themselves, but the moment of being alone, nobody bothering you.
I don’t have a TV at home.
I’m a mindfulness beginner: being here and now, connecting better with people, I like this kind of things to be happier with myself.
I have a terrible memory. On the other side, I try to write down everything I can to remember almost everything. My diary is the most precious object I have.
However, I have a problem…with books! I love reading!
On the one hand, I’ve studied Geography and Environmental Studies, and on the other hand, Translation Studies. Now I’ve merged my two passions: nature and languages, to give rise to Flumen Ecolinguistics. I can say one thing: I love what I do! Can you say the same thing?
