Would you like to reach a new audience and have a positive impact on new adventurers?

Learn how to do just that, using my method.

I’m so glad you’re here. It means we are about to embark on a journey together to write your story to non-English speakers.

Using the APUS method

My purpose? To amplify your voice as a green initiative. More precisely? To get people talking about your project in Spanish-speaking countries.

I’m no mind reader, but I think I can guess what might be going through yours:

You’ve got a great project, you really think a better world is possible, and you honestly want to change more people’s minds. But you don’t know where to start when it comes to inspiring more people.

You’re not sure how to wow your Spanish-speaking audience, who are eager to discover the nature-related area or being you work to preserve.

You panic when a Spanish-speaking client is interested in your project.

You struggle every day to find new ways to reach out to new people, for your business to thrive. This frustration never goes away.

I’m delighted to tell you that you’ve just found an excellent way of doing just that. What’s the first step?

I know it’s challenging to find a translator who is the right fit for your business and knows your market inside out. But how about one who’s a nature lover and an ecotourist himself?

Who am I?

In 2015, I graduated in Geography and Environmental Studies.

In 2016, I started working for a nature education and ecotourism company while studying Translation and Interpreting.

During my four years as a nature educator, I felt that something was missing.

I felt I needed to do even more to help eco-projects grow. To plant more seeds. I wasn’t at ease with myself, felt unfulfilled, discouraged even.

In 2019, I reached a turning point.

In 2020, I met Mati, my mentor from Letras Nómadas, who showed me that I could help the ecotourism field improve and go further by combining my two passions.

With my words, I could help nature-focused companies and initiatives fix some of their biggest mistakes: to market themselves (just by writing) and to spread their wings and fly to another country to educate a foreign audience about nature conservation.

I realised that some companies were involved in greenwashing, and some others were having their texts translated by non-specialised translators.

I respect my colleagues, and I want them to succeed, but the ecotourism sector needs someone who genuinely understands the field if we’re going to change minds and the world.

That’s how helping projects like yours became my purpose.

APUS method

Like birds, your business needs to migrate to find a new habitat of greater abundance. To capture the attention of new audiences by translating the right message.

The APUS method involves the following steps:

5

1. Where you are now.

Now you know what you need, you just discovered that my method can help your company attract more responsible prospects.

4. Teamwork.

Birds communicate and work as a team while flying to reach their destination. During the translation process, I ask you to answer any queries that crop up, because you’re the soul behind the words.

2. We meet.

In this conversation, we talk about your requirements, your business, and more importantly, about your message and how it should be conveyed in another language.

3. Migration.

Spanish-speaking countries are the new habitat you’re travelling towards. I start translating. So, it’s time to…take off and fly!

To err is human. If you wish, we arrange a post-delivery meeting to fix anything you think should be amended or adapted.

My goal? To break down the linguistic barriers that keep you from inspiring the Spanish-speaking audience waiting to hear from you.

FAQs

How much time will it take you to finish my translation project?

It depends on your needs. Also, keep in mind that I work approximately with one client per week because I prefer to fully immerse myself in your project by giving it my full focus.

I don’t run a nature-related company, can you help me anyway?

Of course! I’m happy to help any project that aligns with my values. You can take advantage of the power of words even if you don’t run an ecotourism company.

Which languages do you work with?

English, French, Spanish and Catalan. However, you can commission me to work on a project involving different languages. If I can’t translate your text, I will entrust the project to the colleague I think is the best fit for the project. This saves you time and allows you to devote your precious time to your business.

Can I have my text translated tomorrow? This evening maybe?

Definitely not. I like to get fully involved in the projects I work on, and I always guarantee outstanding quality. To achieve this, I cannot immerse myself in your text, then read, translate, proofread, deliver, and tweak it in a short time frame. If time is your only concern, I’m not the translator for you.

I can’t afford these prices, could you adapt to my situation?

Of course I can! We can discuss rates, payment schedules, etc. I also offer special services and rates for associations, NGOs and organisations. Get in touch to find out more. Tip: Click on “I want this package” button to find out more about rates.

What if I’m not happy with the quality of your work?

Well, it goes without saying that I’d be very disappointed to hear that. After my degrees in Geography and Environmental Studies, then in Translation and Interpreting, followed by my four years’ experience in the nature education field, if I produce a bad-quality linguistic service in the nature field, it’d be really sad news. Nevertheless, I’m not a perfect person, so I’ll refund your money without question. I’m taking a risk by doing this, but I think it’s a fair and ethical approach.
